5-19:
Busy day for Little Miss Evie. Bloodwork, parvo test, fecal, giardia test, Cerenia injection, electrolytes, and sub Q fluids were given along with prescription food.
Seems she was just full of parasites and dehydrated...we ran all the tests to make sure to rule out more serious issues. She is back home after getting all the TLC and resting with her family. Thank you again for coming to fight for Evie. She is getting all better because of your contribution!
5-18:
10 pm Leigh Owen Sendra has been phenomenal and got little Evie in CHEW Animal Clinic tomorrow. Paws crossed for a treatable outcome. Will update you when I have the diagnosis and treatment options. YOU guys made this possible for this sweet pup to not suffer anymore and finally get vet care. THANK YOU VILLAGE!
5-18:
Update: I've been trying to talk to the owner since this am and working. I haven't gotten an update that she got in at any vet yet. I sent her a few others to call too. I called twice just now and no answer. I'll keep trying to connect but at this point really worried about the pup and refunding everyone's donations. I've literally never had this happen.
Update:
Pet parents are taking this baby to Dr. Pipes tomorrow morning. They were unable to be worked in today.
The puppy is throwing up and needs to see a vet. I'm leaning toward Parvo but regardless she needs to see a vet NOW. Owners reached out for financial help. Everyone gets so judged when people surrender to shelters...well now is a chance for us to keep yet another bully breed out of the shelter and help a puppy all at the same time. Please donate so we can sponsor Evie's vet treatment.
Will update you when I know what vet they are taking her to but I or REAL Animal Sanctuary and Behavioral Solutions cannot afford to do this on our own. We would like to make this family's plea part of our Paw It Forward Program where we help those in need. But that takes a village. Please be our village. Be Evie's village.
