HELPS THE DOGS & CATS
Every dollar you donate to REAL Animal Sanctuary and Behavioral Solutions Foundation is making sure we can provide the necessary care for any DOG Breed in need of re-homing and a second chance at loving. We are a 501(c) (3) organization, so all monetary donations are tax-deductible to the extent that IRS allows.
For every dollar donated, 93 cents go towards the cost of care for the dogs we have in foster homes nationwide. From the basics like vaccinations and medications to specialty surgery for those like Chevy, who came to us with a gruesome spinal injury and vertebrae exposed. The remaining 7 cents of every dollar goes towards generating future funding needs.
REAL Animal Sanctuary and Behavioral Solutions Foundation is a nationwide community of supporters and volunteers passionate about making a difference in the lives of DOGS in need and keeping them out of harm’s way. The dogs come to us for various reasons, from strays and shelters to changes in their owner’s life that may include the death of the owner.
Whatever the reason, we take the dogs in with dignity for those surrendering them and without vindication. After all, It’s All About the Dogs.

Donations in Memoriam:
A donor may wish to make a gift in memoriam of a family member, valued friend, or pet.
Direct Gift of Appreciated Securities:
This method conserves the donor’s cash while helping to avoid capital gains tax on the sale of appreciated securities. The market value of the securities is deductible in the current year’s tax return. The donor should consult with their tax advisor.
Direct Gifts of Life Insurance:
If you have a life insurance policy that is no longer required, transferring the policy to the REAL Animal Sanctuary and Behavioral Solutions Foundation may provide benefits to both REAL Animal Sanctuary and Behavioral Solutions Foundation and the donor. The Trust would ultimately collect the policy value and the donor may be entitled to an income tax deduction in the amount of the policy’s value. The donor should consult with their tax advisor.
Wills:
The donor may list REAL Animal Sanctuary and Behavioral Solutions Foundation as a beneficiary in their will. The distribution of the estate is then made at the donor’s death.
